The Ultimate Wedding Nail Guide for Winston-Salem Brides
Your wedding day is one of the most photographed days of your life — and your hands will be in almost every shot. Here's how to plan your nails around the big day.
6 months out: Build the foundation
Start regular manicures or builder gel overlays. Strong, healthy nails make every style look better. If your nails are naturally weak, this is the time to begin a growth plan.
2 months out: Test your shape
Try a few different shapes and lengths at your fills to see what feels comfortable and photographs well. Most brides love a medium almond or soft square.
2 weeks out: The trial run
Book your full bridal nail design for your bridal shower or bachelorette party. This lets you see how the design holds up and whether you want tweaks for the wedding day.
3 days out: Wedding nails
This is the sweet spot. Your nails will look fresh but not so fresh that the polish hasn't fully cured. Bring fabric swatches, jewelry, and photos of your bouquet.
