Fall 2026 Nail Colors: The Shades Winston-Salem Is Asking For
The sweaters came out, the pumpkin spice showed up, and so did the fall color requests. Here's what our guests at Heaven Nails & Spa are actually booking this October — and how to make each shade last.
Chocolate and mocha browns
The single most requested fall shade this year. A glossy chocolate brown reads expensive on every skin tone, and a milkier "mocha mousse" version is the pick for shorter, natural-length nails. Ask for it in dip powder for weeks of shine without a UV lamp.
Burgundy and wine — with chrome
Deep reds never left, but this fall they're getting a chrome top coat for a glazed, mirror finish. A burgundy chrome French — wine tips over a sheer nude base — is the upgrade we're doing most on almond and coffin shapes.
Olive, sage and burnt orange
The greens and oranges of the season work better as accents than full sets for most people: olive on the ring fingers, burnt orange French tips, or a plaid accent nail. Our techs can mix any of these as custom art.
Cozy textures and mini art
- Sweater nails — knit-pattern gel art in cream or tan
- Gold foil accents on chocolate or forest green
- Short square sets in two-tone ombré, nude fading into rust
- Fall French — swap the white tip for caramel, olive or burgundy
Make it last through the season
Fall is hard on hands: cooler air outside, dry heat inside. Bring cuticle oil to every appointment (or grab our tips in the chair) and book your fill every two to three weeks so the color never grows out past the smile line.
